I love when I totally don’t plan on doing something, then because of a challenge/contest/promotion I end up doing it anyway and loving it. Like when I did Whole30 for the first time (I’ve completed it twice since then). Or signing up to sell Mary Kay and meeting goals to win silly bracelets and and earrings. Or like this time… making henley tees for my two oldest boys as part of a week long sew-along for Patterns for Pirates. Yessir, that’s how I get things done. Give me a contest and I’m yours!
You know, I’m trying to limit the challenges I sign up for to ones that are things I actually need. Sure, the boys aren’t lacking in shirts, but it doesn’t hurt to make them some new ones either.
Plus, look at those precious smiles! I also can’t resist the challenge of bringing them joy, and this is one way I do it.
